Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Mantis Citrine Sculpture by Tom Munsteiner This sculpture was hand carved from a large, clean natural Citrine crystal. It measures 32 cm in height, and weighs a total of 12.500 carat. The cutting design was applied by facetting the back side of the stone, in the renowned Munsteiner fantasy cut. The title of the sculpture, "Mantis", is derived from the insect Praying Mantis. The form and design of the incisions centered on the back side of the stone are based on the blades of the insect.
